Our Story

How it all started...

Crossways was born in November 2014, when Pastor Stephen heard the audible voice of God speak to him during a mens conference. God told Stephen to leave their current ministry and 'step out of the boat' and start a new vibrant church in Dartford.
The call was so strong that within 6 months, Pastor Stephen and his wife Sarah, left their current church ministry, had a short period of recuperation and then started Crossways Community Church on 13th April 2015
Stephen and Sarah never knew who would turn up to that first meeting, they had stepped out in faith and booked the Hilton Hotel in Crossways, Dartford and have seen the faithfulness of God in action, as people came through the door.

Expanding the vision...

After three months, Crossways was growing and needed more space for the congregation and Children facilities, So they found a bigger venue and moved there after 3 months.
On July 13th 2015 we moved to the Stone Pavilion in Dartford renting two halls.
After sometime we moved to the larger hall and hired the whole building every Sunday, for our church services.
Crossways Community Church remained there just after covid had ended in 2022.

COVID-19 and the Global Pandemic...

During 2020 the world entered a season of a Pandemic, COVID-19.  Unfortunately, this meant that lots of Churches had to close their venues. Crossways however, like many others, have been hosting their services online and are seeing more growth than they expected during this time.

Crossways Community Church are looking for their own Larger building that they can call home! A building that will be a sanctuary for those in the surrounding area and a place where people can have an encounter with the Living God.

The only thing that is missing is YOU! Why don't you joins us on this amazing Journey...

Where we are now...

In November 2022, our 7 th year as a church, God finally opend up a door for Crossways Community Church to have our own dedicated building, right in the heart of Dartford Town Centre.
This location will be the epicentre and heartbeat of the Church and we pray that it will be that too for the community. This building gives us the ability to  comfortably seat 110 people in one sitting for our church services, whilst having a dedicated community cafe and conference facility, which will be opening in early 2023.
