21 Days of Prayer & Fasting: A Time to Seek God
We are excited to invite you to join us for 21 days of prayer and fasting, a powerful time of spiritual renewal and connection with God. This is a chance to reset our hearts, focus on His presence, and seek His guidance for our lives, our families, and our church.
What is the 21-Day Fast?
Fasting is a biblical practice of abstaining from food or other comforts to draw closer to God. It is a time to intentionally set aside distractions and dedicate ourselves to prayer, worship, and hearing from Him. For this 21-day fast, you can choose how you want to participate based on what works best for you and your walk with the Lord:
The choice is entirely yours, and we encourage you to ask God how He is calling you to fast during this time
What is the 21-Day Fast?
Fasting is a biblical practice of abstaining from food or other comforts to draw closer to God. It is a time to intentionally set aside distractions and dedicate ourselves to prayer, worship, and hearing from Him. For this 21-day fast, you can choose how you want to participate based on what works best for you and your walk with the Lord:
- Abstain from one specific food or item: This could be something like sweets, caffeine, snacks or social media etc. This is great if you are new to fasting.
- Give up a group of foods: For example, bread, meat, or processed foods.
- The Daniel Diet (Lite): This is the same as the daniel diet but a little lighter, allowing the following extra food: Fish, Dairy, Eggs, Cheese & juices/Tea/Coffee
- Follow the Daniel Diet: This involves eating only fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and water, modeled after the biblical story of Daniel.
The choice is entirely yours, and we encourage you to ask God how He is calling you to fast during this time
To support and encourage you during the fast, our team will be providing daily devotional content every morning. These devotions are designed to help you focus on God's Word, guide your prayers, and reflect on His promises. Whether you read them individually or with your family, these moments will help you stay grounded and connected throughout the 21 days.
As you fast, we encourage you to use the time you would normally spend eating to connect with God. This could be through prayer, worship, journaling, or simply sitting in His presence. Fasting is not just about giving something up; it’s about replacing it with something greater—intimacy with God.
If you have any medical conditions or health concerns, we strongly recommend seeking advice from your doctor before beginning the fast. Your health is important, and there are many ways to participate that can work for you.
Fasting is a powerful way to:
- Draw closer to God.
- Hear His voice more clearly.
- Break free from distractions or unhealthy habits.
- Seek breakthrough in specific areas of your life or in the lives of others.
- Unite as a church in prayer for God’s vision and guidance.
We believe this will be a life-changing time for our church family. Whether you’ve never fasted before or it’s a regular practice for you, there’s something special about dedicating these 21 days to God as a community. Together, let’s seek His heart, pray for His will, and believe for great things in 2026!
Stay connected through our daily devotions, and let’s support one another as we walk through this journey of prayer and fasting together.
